Your heart is pumping so hard, you can feel it in your mouth, your muscles are straining (you never realized a fish could be this strong), you can see the yellow fin tuna, still deep down - it's a good size, about 20 kilos, but it doesn't want to be boated.

Next thing you hear the Skipper shout, "hurry, here comes a shark", you can't believe what you are seeing - a massive black shape, like a submarine homing in on your dinner. Everyone is shouting at you, "pull, hurry, wind", the mate is hanging over the side with a gaff and, if you are quick enough the shark goes hungry and you get to take home the fish of a lifetime, too slow - and your line suddenly goes slack, the sea red and the shark swims leisurely away, tail wagging. |

Summer time brings the spectacular multicoloured dancing Dorado, that leap out of the water when hooked as do the magnificent Marlin and Sailfish. The speed of the streamlined 'cuda' and Wahoo must be witnessed to be believed. The dogged resistance of the powerful Yellowtail and Prodigal Son are there to test you, if it is your lucky day, and perhaps a little reef fishing for some tasting roc cod or red fish to end your day. |

Charters start at first light and last up to 7 hours dependant on weather.
Sightseeing trips can also be arranged and are very popular between June and December when the Humpback whales come to our coastline to breed.
